Roaming this barren earth daily <br />As the sun radiates this terrain <br />The atmosphere grows hateful <br />I quest for a quench of comradeship <br />Aloneness breathes loneliness into my existence <br /> <br />As I proceed lethargicaly dragging myself <br />Haven't ascertained a destination <br />Entombed in a sea of earth <br />Only companion to this void is nothingness <br /> <br />Blistered palms and knees upon the asphalt <br />Detecting amidst my vicinity this meloncholy doing somersaults <br />An object within digesting my mentality <br />That being constructs a barrier of disorientation <br />I am the recipient of its relentless mischief<br /><br />R.K.
